Henty Riding Club is affiliated with Equestrian WA. The club runs a major two-day dressage competition – in August – as well as informal monthly dressage training days which are held on either a Saturday or Sunday.
Our club day is held on Wednesday and Thursday mornings and members are encouraged to come and enjoy the facilities offered at the Dardanup Equestrian Centre. Members may have a lesson with one of the instructors who teach at the centre or just enjoy a social ride around the spacious grounds, ride some flatwork or try out the small jumps trail.
The grounds offer excellent facilities with a large sand arena and a smaller area with a full dressage arena permanently set up. Both arenas have good surfaces. Riders may set up a few jumps or do some pole-work. Members can book a ride through Nominate and providing there will be 2 riders they can use the grounds as they wish subject to availability on the DEC Calendar.
The club rooms have all amenities including showers and kitchen facilities and a nearby fenced children’s playground.
